The Honda S2000

You know what’s crazy? The Honda S2000 came out in 1999 (2000 for the US) to celebrate Honda's 50th anniversary. It’s got a 2.0L naturally aspirated inline-4 engine (F20C) that revs to a screaming 9,000 RPM — how wild is that for a road car?

The Perfect White on Red S2000

What I love about the S2000 is how pure it feels, (and yes, I have driven one… once). It’s all about balance, with that perfect 50:50 weight distribution and a lightweight chassis that just hugs the road through the twisties.

Oh, and here’s a fun fact: when it debuted, the F20C had the highest horsepower per liter of any naturally aspirated engine in the world—120hp per liter. That’s Formula 1-level engineering in a roadster!

Honestly, it’s not just about speed—it’s the way it connects you to the road. A true driver’s car that still turns heads today.

When new, you could pick up an S2000 for just under £28,000. Today, a well looked after car still fetches £15,000 and upwards, with REALLY clean ones commanding an eye watering £20,000+!

Did you guess today’s car right? Gold star for you! ⭐️

As always, a gold star for anyone who can guess tomorrow’s car right 😉
